Dr. Amit Kumar Pandey, PhD (Robotics & AI), is a globally recognized Robotics and AI scientist and innovator, with a deep commitment to advancing social innovation through technologies for humanity. He is the President of Socients AI and Robotics, France. Dr. Pandey has held prominent leadership roles, including CTO â€“ Robotics and AI at Rovial Space (France), and President, Chief Science Officer (CSO), and CTO at Hanson Robotics, the company that created one of the worldâ€™s most expressive social humanoid robots, Sophia. Previously, he served as Head Principal Scientist (Chief Scientist) at SoftBank Robotics Europe (formerly Aldebaran Robotics), Paris, the company that created the mass-produced social humanoid robots Pepper and Nao. He was the CTO and Chief AI Officer of beingAI, the world's first transmedia AI avatar company. He is also Co-founder of other initiatives in this sector including Global Robotics, Arts, and Science Synergies, Singapore; Global Institute for Robotics and AI, France. He aims to address societal needs to achieve innovation through scientific advancements, new technologies and collaborative ecosystem creation. On these aspects, he has been actively contributing as the principal investigator, researcher, and industrial scientific coordinator in more than 10 large scale national, international and European Union (EU) projects on various themes including healthcare, education, and services. He was appointed as the General Chair of IEEE/RSJ/KROS International Ro-Man 2019 conference with the theme: Responsible Robotics and AI for the Real World. Among other responsibilities, he is the founding coordinator of euRobotics (the European Union Robotics Community) Topic Group (TG): Socially Intelligent Robots and Societal Applications (SIRo-SA), and active contributor in the Multi-Annual Roadmap (MAR) and Strategic Research Agenda (SRA) of euRobotics, which the aim to shape the future of robotics in Europe in collaboration with European Commission (EC). He is also serving as the chair of the International Robot Design Competition, in the advisory boards of several global initiatives and companies, including Chairperson of AI Initiative in Africa, appointed as president collaboration for ARTPARK, IISc, India, and worked as a researcher in Robotics and AI at LAAS-CNRS (French National Center for Scientific Research), France. An accomplished researcher and speaker, Dr. Pandey has authored more than 60 research publications and delivered over 100 invited talks, keynotes, and TEDx talks at leading international forums. Ouri Wolfson's main research interests are in big data, mobile and pervasive computing, smart city technologies, and AI. He received his B.A. degree in mathematics, and his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the founder, president, and chief Scientist of Pirouette Software Inc.. Previously he has been on the computer science faculty at the Technion, Columbia University, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. He was the founder of Mobitrac, a high-tech venture-funded startup that was listed in the top 50 start-ups in Chicagoland and acquired in 2006. He served as a consultant to Argonne National Laboratory, US Army Research Laboratories, DARPA, and NASA. Ouri Wolfson authored over 240 publications, eight of them award winning. He holds seven patents, and has over 17,000 citations and an h-index of 61 on Google scholar. He is a Fellow of the Association of Computing Machinery (ACM), a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA), a Fellow of the International Artificial Intelligence Industry Alliance (AIIA), and a University of Illinois Scholar for 2009. He served as a Distinguished Lecturer for the Association of Computing Machinery. Wolfson was the keynote and distinguished speaker at leading conferences and universities, recently the The Eighth International Conference on Big Data Analytics (BDA2020) , Dec. 2020, and the International Conference on Transport and Smart Cities (ICoTS 2021) , Sept. 2021. Ouri Wolfson is the Editor in Chief of the MDPI Journal of Future Transportation , the Specialty Chief Editor of Frontiers' Smart Technologies and Cities , and he chaired leading conferences. Rodrigue Tagne Simo is an AI researcher and engineer specialising in multimodal artificial intelligence, graph-based learning, and intelligent control of complex cyber-physical systems. Holder of a Master of Research in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Applied Artificial Intelligence for Smart Grids, and a Master of Engineering in Industrial Robotics and Automation. My interdisciplinary background spans power systems engineering, robotic process automation, and advanced machine learning architectures. My master's research produced a Multimodal Hybrid AI Framework integrating Graph Neural Networks for topology-aware state estimation, CNN-LSTM pipelines for spatiotemporal sensor analysis, Variational Autoencoder-Transformer fusion for probabilistic uncertainty quantification, and Reinforcement Learning with Proximal Policy Optimisation for adaptive closed-loop control all validated on real smart grid cyber-physical data. This framework addresses simultaneous challenges of anomaly detection, state estimation, and intelligent decision-making in distributed energy infrastructure operating under uncertainty. My research interests lie at the convergence of AI safety, explainable machine learning, autonomous robotic systems, and data-driven decision support for critical infrastructure. I applied my AI methodology across a wide range of domains including power grid cybersecurity, structural health monitoring, autonomous robotic manipulation, brain-computer interfaces, soft medical robotics, and sustainable manufacturing demonstrating the cross-domain transferability of my core architectural contributions. I am currently pursuing doctoral opportunities at leading research institutions across Europe, North America, and the Asia-Pacific region, with a focus on advancing interpretable, uncertainty-aware AI systems for complex real-world environments. With over eight years of teaching experience spanning secondary and university levels, I have directly observed how digital tools influence student engagement, motivation, and learning strategies. This experience has deepened my commitment to empirical educational research particularly the design of observational and experimental studies that rigorously evaluate learning outcomes under varying assessment conditions. I am based in Douala, Cameroon, and is committed to contributing to the development of impactful AI research with tangible applications in industry, healthcare, and sustainable infrastructure.
