Prof. Joan-Lluis Vives Corrons, MD, PhD, is Professor Emeritus of Hematology at the University of Barcelona and former Head of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Hemoglobinopathies in Spain. With a career spanning more than 40 years, his research has focused on hereditary anemias, red blood cell disorders, and the implementation of diagnostic innovations at national and international levels. Professor Hongmei (Mary) He (FHEA, SIEEE) is Chair Professor of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. She received her PhD in Computer Science from Loughborough University in 2006 and previously held research/academic posts at Bristol, Kent, Ulster, Cranfield, and De Montfort Universities. Before academia, she was a senior embedded systems engineer at Motorola Design House in China. Professor He’s research focuses on human-centred and trustworthy AI for RAS, addressing challenges in healthcare, safety, and sustainability. Supported by EPSRC, Innovate UK, the EU, and industry, her work integrates explainable AI, sensor-driven intelligence, and human–machine interaction to enhance real-world resilience and trust.Her flagship paper, “The Challenges and Opportunities of Human-Centred AI for Trustworthy Robots and Autonomous Systems” (IEEE TCDS), received the Best AI and Robotics Research Award (Overall) from UK Responsive AI and the EPSRC TAS Hub in 2025. She chairs the IEEE UK & Ireland Robotics and Automation Society Chapter and mentors early-career researchers globally, promoting inclusive, transparent, and responsible AI innovation for societal benefit.

Angelo Cangelosi is Professor of Machine Learning and Robotics at the University of Manchester (UK) and co-director and founder of the Manchester Centre for Robotics and AI. He was selected for the award of the European Research Council (ERC) Advanced grant (UKRI funded). His research interests are incognitive and developmental robotics, neural networks, language, grounding, human robot-interaction and trust, and robot companions for health and social care. Overall, he has secured over £40m of research grants as coordinator/PI, including the ERCAdvanced eTALK, the UKRI TAS Trust Node and CRADLE Prosperity, the US AFRL project CASPER++, and numerous Horizon and MSCAs grants. Cangelosi has produced more than 300 scientific publications. He is Editor -in-Chief of the journals Interaction Studies and IET Cognitive Computation and Systems , and in 2015 was Editor-in-Chief ofIEEE Transactions on Autonomous Development. He has chaired numerous international conferences, including ICANN2022 Bristol, and ICDL2021 Beijing. His book “Developmental Robotics: From Babies to Robots” (MIT Press) was published in January 2015, and translated in Chinese and Japanese. His latest book “Cognitive Robotics” (MIT Press), coedited with Minoru Asada, was recently published in 2022.

Dr.-Ing. Josef Franko is a German engineer, entrepreneur, and researcher specializing in agricultural robotics, automation, and artificial intelligence. He is the Founder and CEO of AI.Land Horticulture GmbH, Open Research Base gGmbH, and Landhouz GmbH, where he leads a team of 25 engineers and holds 11 patents. Ouri Wolfson's main research interests are in big data, mobile and pervasive computing, smart city technologies, and AI. He received his B.A. degree in mathematics, and his Ph.D. degree in computer science from Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, New York University. He is currently a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago and the founder, president, and chief Scientist of Pirouette Software Inc.. Previously he has been on the computer science faculty at the Technion, Columbia University, University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, and a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. He was the founder of Mobitrac, a high-tech venture-funded startup that was listed in the top 50 start-ups in Chicagoland and acquired in 2006. He served as a consultant to Argonne National Laboratory, US Army Research Laboratories, DARPA, and NASA. Ouri Wolfson authored over 240 publications, eight of them award winning. He holds seven patents, and has over 17,000 citations and an h-index of 61 on Google scholar. Pr. Noureddine BEN YAHIA is a Full Professor at the National Superior School of Engineers of Tunis (ENSIT), University of Tunis. He earned his Ph.D. in Automatic Machining Processes from the National School of Engineers of Tunis in 2002 and obtained his Habilitation in Computer-Aided Process Planning in 2012. From 1995 to 1999, he served as Head of the Energy Sector at the National Center for Trainers and Training Engineering (CENAFFIF), before joining academia as a Research Professor in 2000—a position he holds to this day. Prof. Ben Yahia is certified by the CESI-France Group in Industrial Support and Context Analysis. Over his career, he has led numerous scientific research and training engineering projects, as well as strategic initiatives in academia and industry. From 2018 to 2024, he headed ENSIT’s Internship and International Relations Department. He currently serves as Director of the Laboratory of Mechanics, Production, and Energy (LMPE – LR18ES01). His research interests include: Artificial Intelligence, Optimization of Mechanical Manufacturing Systems, Industrial Production Systems and Digital Twins Additive Manufacturing. Prof. Ben Yahia has authored over 60 peer-reviewed journal articles and more than 140 conference papers in leading international venues. Dr. Webert Montlouis received his BS, MS, and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA, USA. He is the founder and CSO of WEMSS Laboratory LLC. He was with Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD. He has served as Chief Scientist at the Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) and as a faculty member in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Dr. Montlouis has served as the chair of the IEEE Massive MIMO standard development working group and as the co-chair of the Massive MIMO working group. He has served as the general co-chair of the IEEE Massive MIMO workshop and as session chair for numerous IEEE conferences. Dimah Dera is a Frederick and Anna B. Wiedman II Professor at the Chester F. Carlson Center for Imaging Science at the Rochester Institute of Technology. She received her Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering and M.A. in Mathematics from Rowan University, NJ. Dimah received the National Science Foundation (NSF) Research Initiation Initiative (CRII), Award No. 2401828, in 2023 and the NSF Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) supplement award in 2024 for her current research focusing on robust and trustworthy machine learning. She won several research Awards at IEEE conferences and in the Engineering community, including the Best Paper Award at the 2019 IEEE International Workshop on Machine Learning for Signal Processing, the NJ Tech Council STEM Innovator to Watch Award (2019), and the IEEE Philadelphia Section Benjamin Franklin Key Award (2021). Dimah has served as a member of the IEEE Signal Processing and Computational Intelligence Societies as well as a member of the ACM SIGHPC Association for Computing Machinery. She is the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) University Ambassador.

Dr. Jixin Ma is a Full Professor in the School of Computing and Mathematical Sciences, University of Greenwich, United Kingdom. He has been the Director of the Centre for Computer and Computational Science, and the Director of School’s PhD/MPhil Programme. He is also a Visiting Professor of Beijing Normal University, Auhui University, Zhengzhou Light Industrial University, and City University of Macau. Professor Ma obtained his BSc and MSc of Mathematics in 1982 and 1988, respectively, and PhD of Computer Sciences in 1994. Xingchen is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Director of the Fusion Intelligence Laboratory in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Exeter. Previously, he was a Visiting Researcher and Marie Skłodowska-Curie Individual Fellow at the Personal Robotics Laboratory, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London. He also previously worked as a Teaching Fellow and Research Associate in the same department at Imperial College London. His main research interests include image fusion, human motion and intention prediction, multimodal robot vision, and object tracking. Dr. Leila Mekacher is a passionate engineer, entrepreneur, and internationally certified autism specialist. She serves as Head of Digital Research and Innovation and is the founder of the Technological Education Center at the SRH Vocational Training Center. A committed STEM ambassador, she also lectures at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University, the University of the Federal Employment Agency in Mannheim, and the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Linz. Dr. Mekacher holds a degree in electrical and automation engineering and earned her PhD in robotics and software engineering. Her work centers on the use of immersive technologies—such as virtual and mixed reality—as well as gamification, to advance digital education, foster inclusive work environments, and promote accessibility. Through her social enterprise Innoversa gUG and her tech company Innoversa Factory GmbH, she develops cutting-edge educational tools, including VR escape rooms, AI-generated media, interactive 360° VR experiences, and VR simulators designed for vocational training and career orientation. Deeply committed to inclusion, Dr. Mekacher supports individuals on the autism spectrum by actively involving them in research, development, and real-world industry projects. Dr. Zhenchun Xia earned his Ph.D. from Texas A&M University in 2012 and is an IEEE Senior Member. He has 20+ years of control and simulation experience spanning Daimler, Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Mitsubishi, Autoliv, and Magna. As Founder & CEO of A&M SIM Global, Dr. Xia leads the development of real-time, high-fidelity simulation platforms for AD/ADAS, drones, and robotics. His expertise includes control theory, sensor modeling, and real-time simulation. He has published 30+ papers and has been invited to speak at international conferences on AD/ADAS, Control, Sensors and Safety.

Dr. Chen is a Distinguished Professor of Engineering Science at National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He received his PhD from Information Management from National Chiao-Tung University in Taiwan. Dr. Mohammad Zohaib is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Machine Learning Genoa Center (MaLGa).
